Hi, I’m Rae!
I’m a professionally trained Birth and Postpartum Doula, a mama, a lifelong hair wizard, a lover of Italian food, and the heart behind Mother and Crow Births.
My path has always been rooted in care, whether it’s holding space in the barber chair or at a birthing person’s side, I’m most at home when I’m helping others feel seen, nurtured, and empowered.
Mother and Crow Births was born from that same love of transformation.
I believe birth and postpartum are not just physical events, but profound thresholds. Moments that change us forever.
My approach weaves together the practical and the mystical, grounded in evidence-based care, intuitive presence, and deep respect for every unique story.
The name Mother and Crow is inspired by the Maiden–Mother–Crone archetype and the crow as a symbol of transformation and transition between worlds. It reflects the sacred, cyclical nature of birth, death, and rebirth that lives within all of us.
I walk with families of all identities and stories —
with affirming care for LGBTQIA+ and gender-expansive birthing people, and anyone seeking mindful, wholehearted support. My hope is to bring inclusive language and compassionate hands-on care to your journey into parenthood, because birth deserves to be held as sacred, and so do you.

Care Packages & Investment
At Mother and Crow Births, I believe every family deserves nurturing, intentional support through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, regardless of income or circumstance. My pricing reflects the energy and time this work requires while honoring accessibility through a suggested sliding scale.
Together, we’ll find a care plan that meets your needs, values, and resources.
Steady, compassionate guidance through pregnancy and birth.
Includes two prenatal visits, continuous birth attendance, and one postpartum follow-up.
Sliding scale: $800–$1,400
Half due at first prenatal, remainder due at 36-week home visit.
Daytime care focused on rest, recovery, and rhythm in the early weeks.
Includes feeding support, nourishment, light home care, and emotional grounding.
Rate: $30/hour (first 6 hours), $35/hour for each additional hour
Up to 10 hours per day.
Peaceful nighttime care to help families rest and restore.
Includes newborn care, feeding support, and light morning preparation.
Resting Overnight: $40/hour
Awake Overnight: $45/hour
